4TH ANNUAL JUNETEENTH PARADE/BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Join us for an electrifying celebration at the Chi-Ball Y League's 4th Annual Juneteenth Basketball Tournament! Immerse yourself in a day of thrilling basketball action and community camaraderie as we commemorate Juneteenth in style.
Experience the vibrancy of the tournament at five prominent basketball locations in Chicago, including Pullman Community Center, Wendell Smith School, Corliss/Butler High School, and Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center. These venues will serve as the backdrop for an intense display of basketball talent and a celebration of unity within the community.
Prepare for heart-pounding matches following a single-elimination format, officiated by two IHSA referees for Biddy Ball and Middle School games and three certified referees for High School games. The introduction of an electronic stat tracking system will add a modern touch to the tournament, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for players and spectators alike.
Winners will be honored with prestigious awards, including individual trophies, a team trophy, championship T-shirts, and an MVP award, recognizing their exceptional skills and dedication to the game.
